How to Make Money is a question asked by many newcomers to the world of Internet business, but it is unfortunately answered by a hoard of scammers who will try to sell something that usually turns out to be useless. So I created this blog as a way of pointing newcomers in the right directions where they won't be "sold" stuff they don't need or be given bad advice.

The world of Internet Marketing is a cut-throat business that eats up newcomers for breakfast and has earned itself a bad reputation. Most believe that this side of the Internet is full of scam artists and con merchants all out to fleece the unwary and unsuspecting newcomers with hype and lies designed to sell their repackaged and rehashed products that in the main, quite frankly do not work.

Many a sales page will be displayed to the newcomer claiming that by buying this or that product, ebook or signing up for this or that mentoring program the recipient will be shown how to make money online to the tune of several thousand dollars, week in and week out by pressing a button and sitting back to watch the money fall out of the sky.

Wake up call:

That is all hype and 99% of it is bullshit. But this is not the whole story of enterprise and business online. Let's take a look at what is really out there.

Real Online Business vs Internet Marketing

But despite the bad reputation this hype gives to the business, there is a viable percentage of people who are making money online and some of them are making a lot of money from the Internet. First we have to divide online business into two sections.

On the one side, there are many thousands of honest business people with online store websites that sell legitimate goods or services. These people are true business people that sell their wares just as they would in any brick and motar store in the real world. They are not interested in telling anyone else how to make money online, they are more concerned with running their own businesses.

On the other side, there are the Internet Marketers, who generally do not have their own online stores but sell products or services from their websites that are purely designed to "teach" other people how to make money online. These are also business people, but of a different ilk in that they are not really concerned about the quality of the products they sell, just about taking the money from unsuspecting newbies who think they're getting the next best thing since sliced bread.

Of that section of the Internet Marketing business, a small percentage of people are making easy money online by not actually selling anything to anyone and thereby not ripping anyone off. These are marketers who use their websites to make money via advertising, a subject that I will deal with in a future post.

Of this small group of people, only a tiny minority of them are the least bit interested in showing you exactly how they do it.

For the newcomer, this is exactly the group of people that they need to meet first, but unfortunately that seldom happens. In most cases, by the time you've found these truly honest people that are prepared to help you by showing you exactly what to do, you've already been ripped off by scammers and have a picture in your mind that you can make money online without putting any effort in yourself.

The reality is a little different, but with work and effort and I'll admit a good degree of determination and some luck thrown in for good measure, anyone can make money online and some of us do make a living from the Internet. It hasn't happened overnight and the truth is that most successful marketers who are not ripping anyone off have taken many months to get to that stage. Some have taken two or more years. That is a long time to start to see results good enough to be able to quit your job and do this as a full time business. In that time, most people will give up because they don't have that persistent streak in their character necessary to carry them through for the long haul.

This blog is for people who are persistent and determined enough to work hard and set a goal that they fully intend to attain. I don't sell anything you don't need and I don't send you down the wrong path trying to do things that can't be done. I won't be posting in this blog all that often either. This is not meant as a social blog and when it has matured sufficiently, I fully intend to use it to make money for me. That way, it will be a working model of what to do and how to do it. I will also direct you to other established and well respected people and their sites who can show how to make money online by showing you how they've done it.

I will show you how to make easy money online by using only the free services that are available to you. The rest is up to you to take action and do what needs to be done. Simple.
